do dreams have a meaning?

My great grandmother had passed away exactly a month after her birthday. she was 93 may she rest in peace right about now we all now this is what she wanted and it was for the best. But it is going to be 3 months on the 9 since she has left our family. and the last chance i had got to see her was her birthday. i see remember that day perfectly i had taken her flowers and a card she loved the flowers she kept smelling them.. she couldn’t see too good even with her glasses but she always seemed to have eye contact with me. At times she would forget family members names, and well i was raised with her she lived under my apartment and after that i would go to my grandmas where she stayed at everyday at school. we would go walking around the park she loved walking. i memory i remember the clearest is her offering me a piece of pears which she would always eat. Before we had heard that she was really sick and she might not make it, i had a dream that my dog had passed away and i woke up crying in the middle of the night. that was the first time me waking up crying or even dreaming of someone dyeing and two weeks later my great grandmother gets really sick and she does not make it she passed away during the morning. that friday i was hopping to go see her for the last time because that thursday i had too much homework. At times family does come first.
